Throughout the dramatic history of Poland, the city was fortunately saved from considerable destruction. For that reason the city is abundant in monuments, many of which date back to the medieval period. Additionally, a significant number of the monuments were erected in accordance with the Gothic canon.

Torun is the birthplace of Copernicus and is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. There are many places of interest including churches, a cathedral and castle ruins along with the many Gothic buildings. The Old Town is illuminated at night creating a unique visual spectacle which is a wonder to behold, especially due to its sheer scale.

Our hotel, located in the centre of the"Copernicus City" has a reach history.It was in the XVIII-century, when the place was visited by King August Strong Queen Maria Kazimiera, or Car of Russia Piotr I.There is no doubt that the hotel is interesting buildning both from the historic point of view and It`s usage.It is located among the complex of the tenement houses of the old CITY, included in to the list of the Worlds Cultural Heritage made by "unesco"
